Survey & Management Plans
We will undertake a survey of a site to record the presence of invasive species and produce a management plan with GIS mapping detailing the distribution to the property/site and identifying feasible remediation strategies in-line with the development proposal.
Commercial
The Environment Agency advocates the use of a Management Plan wherever possible on development sites. Our Management Plans are drafted in accordance with best practice and are conducted by qualified Ecologists ensuring your development conditions are discharged by the Local Planning Authority.
Invasive species are a form of contamination on a development site. As with other contaminates (i.e. Asbestos or Hydrocarbons) a management (remediation) plan needs to be drawn up and implemented. These plans ensure the correct remediation method and monitoring is employed to remove the problem in-line with the proposed end use of the site.
Northern Invasives also deliver on site Ecological Clerk of Works to monitor your site and deliver tool box talks to site staff.
